Members can now register and pay using Apple Pay on Safari for iPhone and Mac, or Stripe Link for a seamless one-tap checkout experience. Imagine a member signing up at 2 a.m. from their smartphone in your 24-hour gym—quick, easy, and no more fat-fingered attempts at entering card numbers. To enable this feature, simply toggle it on in your Portal Settings, and the Apple Pay domain registration takes care of itself automatically. This feature is available for all Stripe-connected portals, ensuring a smooth transaction experience.
By offering these streamlined payment options, you're reducing barriers to entry, increasing membership sign-ups, and creating a hassle-free experience for your members. It's one more way we're helping you focus more on building community and less on administrative headaches.
Late Fees
Managing late payments can be a headache, often requiring manual tracking and awkward conversations with members. To simplify this process, we've introduced an automated late fee system. You can now set a flat-dollar late fee—for instance, $20—that automatically applies when a payment fails. This ensures that late payments don't go unnoticed and helps maintain your cash flow without added stress.
Importantly, this feature is designed with fairness in mind. Only one late fee will be charged per billing period, regardless of multiple payment attempts, ensuring that members aren't double-charged. You can easily configure this setting under Portal Settings in the Membership & Billing section.
This feature was inspired by a specific request from a gym owner just two weeks ago, demonstrating our commitment to listening and responding to your needs swiftly. By automating late fees, you can maintain consistent revenue while reducing administrative burdens, allowing you to focus more on member engagement and less on chasing payments.
Manager Override PINs (ManageRegister)
One of the challenges many businesses face is ensuring accountability without stifling staff autonomy. With our new Manager Override PINs feature in ManageRegister, we've struck a balance between these. Staff members can no longer change prices, apply discounts, or process refunds without a manager's approval via a secure 4-6 digit PIN.
Every override is logged meticulously, noting who approved it, when it happened, and what changes were made. You can configure these settings per action and review a full audit trail under Settings > Override Logs. This feature promotes accountability, ensuring that all transactions are transparent without micromanaging your staff.

This means that members can purchase a gift card in-store and redeem it online, or receive one via email and use it in person. Balances stay consistent across platforms, eliminating the awkwardness of explaining, "Sorry, that gift card only works on the website."

Product Bundles (ManageRegister)
Offering bundled products is a great way to increase sales and provide value, yet managing inventory for bundles can be complex. With the new Product Bundles feature in ManageRegister, you can easily create pre-packaged combinations of products that are sold as a single item at a set price.
Imagine offering a "Range Package" that includes the range fee, a target, and eye protection—all sold together. When a package is purchased, each component's inventory is automatically decremented, ensuring that your stock levels stay accurate without manual adjustment.

Check-In Report — By Member View
Understanding member engagement is crucial for tailoring your services and retention strategies. With our updated check-in report, you can now view check-ins "By Member," alongside the existing "By Class" view.
This allows you to see who has checked in, how many times, and over what date range. Click to expand each member's visits, complete with date, time, and class details. This insight helps you quickly identify your most active members or spot those who have been MIA for weeks.
For gym owners, this is an invaluable tool for crafting personalized outreach efforts. Whether it's rewarding frequent visitors or re-engaging those who haven't been around, this feature puts actionable data at your fingertips.
Sales Tax Report Overhaul (ManageRegister)
Accurate tax reporting is not optional; it's essential. Our overhauled Sales Tax Report now ensures absolute accuracy by pulling data from the same stored transactions as the Payment Type Report, eliminating any penny discrepancies.
The new category summary at the bottom of the report groups everything by product category, showing quantity, sales, discounts, taxable and non-taxable totals, and collected sales tax at a glance. This means you get a comprehensive view without having to read line by line.
Gift cards, layaways, and category performance are visible with ease, and transaction-level discounts now appear as their own line items. Plus, both PDF and CSV exports include this detailed summary, making tax season a little less taxing.
Refunds on Invoices + ARN Tracking
Refunds can often cause confusion, especially when members need to track them with their banks. Our system now prints refunds and partial refunds as line items on the invoice, complete with the amount in red, net total, and a "Refunded" status badge.
What’s more, the Acquirer Reference Number (ARN) from Stripe is now captured, allowing members to trace refunds with their bank directly. No more tedious phone tag with customer support, providing both you and your members peace of mind.
This transparency not only enhances member trust but also reduces the time your staff spends handling refund queries, freeing them up to focus on enhancing member experience.
Charge Card on File (ManageRegister)
Convenience is key, especially when it comes to payments. Now, with the Charge Card on File feature, staff can directly charge a member's stored payment method from the POS.
Select the member, choose "Card on File" as the payment method, and the transaction is completed. This feature works seamlessly with both Stripe and CardPointe, ensuring flexibility and ease.
This not only expedites the checkout process but also enhances the member experience by removing any step that could serve as a barrier to quick and smooth transactions.
Stale Inventory Report
Keeping track of inventory is critical, and our new Stale Inventory Report helps you identify items that haven’t been physically counted within a configurable period—30, 60, 90, or 180 days.
Items that have never been counted appear first in red, providing a clear view of what requires immediate attention. This feature ensures that your inventory records remain honest and accurate, preventing shrinkage and ensuring effective stock management.
With this report, managing inventory becomes a proactive task rather than reactive, helping you maintain optimal stock levels and reduce waste.
