Release 1.18.0 is a strong step forward in reducing admin friction, improving reliability, and expanding how ManageMemberships supports real world operations. This release focuses on speed, clarity, and control across memberships, retail, staffing, sponsorships, and promotions.
Below is a clear breakdown of what is new, what has improved, and what was fixed, along with why these changes matter day to day.
Faster Admin Control With Less Back and Forth
Admins can now directly set a member password from the member details screen. This removes the need for reset emails during front desk assistance, kiosk setups, or in person onboarding.
Bulk actions have also been improved. Assigning members to drip campaigns is now faster and easier, which helps when running onboarding sequences, trial follow ups, or re engagement efforts.
Promo codes can now be applied directly from the member dashboard. This allows staff to resolve pricing issues quickly, honor promotions without rebuilding subscriptions, and fix billing questions on the spot.
A dedicated upgrade route has also been added. This makes it easier to funnel users toward upgrades from emails, QR codes, or in app prompts without confusing redirects.
CRM Expansion and Sponsorship Tracking
The CRM now includes sponsorship pipeline tracking. This is built for gyms, teams, and organizations working with sponsors, partners, or affiliates who need visibility into outreach, status, and follow ups.
Free and trial class signups can now automatically populate the CRM. This closes the gap where leads appeared in attendance data but never reached follow up workflows.
Admins can also see which users have redeemed specific codes, making it easier to understand campaign performance and spot misuse or confusion.
Payments, Billing, and Reliability Improvements
Bookings now use an idempotency key to prevent double charges caused by repeated clicks or slow connections. This protects both members and staff from accidental duplicate payments.
Tax and processing fees can now be applied to manually created invoices. This keeps manual billing consistent with automated billing and helps avoid revenue leakage.
Hourly rates in ManageShifts are now editable, supporting real world differences across roles, locations, and experience levels without workarounds.
ManageRegister Enhancements for Retail and Compliance
ManageRegister now includes a direct workorder integration with WordPress, allowing tighter coordination between web requests and in store or back office workflows.
Classes can now appear as badges inside ManageRegister. This is useful for mandatory or privilege based classes such as safety courses or required orientations.
The Z Report now defaults to the active register session, reducing reporting mistakes during close out.
Syncing from ManageRegister has also been improved so existing entries are preserved instead of deleted.
Visual and Usability Improvements
Classes, events, and resources now use color gradients to make calendars easier to scan, especially in busy environments with overlapping schedules.
A new help integration is available directly inside the admin panel, giving faster access to guidance without leaving your workflow.
A built in short URL and QR code generator has also been added, supporting promotions, check ins, posters, and quick access links.
Security and Stability
This release includes multiple security enhancements across the platform. Most of these changes are behind the scenes but improve long term stability and reduce risk.
Bugs were fixed across class feedback, cash collection, kiosk waiver signups, trial classes, password resets, and sticky member search behavior.
Why This Release Matters
Version 1.18.0 continues a clear direction for ManageMemberships. Fewer workarounds, fewer manual fixes, and better alignment between admin tools and real operations.
Feedback from real users shaped these updates, and this release lays the groundwork for deeper integrations and smarter automation.
