We just rolled out ManageMemberships v1.9.0, and it's packed with meaningful upgrades across the board—from door access control to class registrations, email marketing, and child account handling. Here’s what’s new and improved:
✅ Improvements You’ll Notice Right Away
- Clearer Lock Labels
The door lock toggle now explicitly says “Locked” or “Unlocked,” reducing confusion during manual overrides.
- Smarter Event Registration Reports
Date and time are now shown for each entry, making reporting and follow-up easier.
- Membership Visibility on Kiosk
Qkiosk now displays the member’s current membership level during check-in.
- Agreements and Door Access
New logic means if a member’s added subscription requires additional agreements, the dashboard reflects it and the door can restrict access until signed.
- Flexible Door Requirements
Doors can now be configured to require no specific membership level at all.
- Stronger Access Logic Testing
Deployment testing for door logic is now more resilient to edge cases and regressions.
🛠️ Fixes That Close Loopholes
- Child Account Payments
Edge cases around child account payments are now resolved, avoiding the need for manual intervention.
- Admin Signature Handling
Improved UX and consistency when owners sign agreements from the admin side.
- Event Registration and Transactions
Fixed a few glitches that caused booking hiccups during registration and payment.
- Agreement Count Updates
Fixed a delay where updated subscription plans weren’t instantly reflected in the agreement counter.
🚀 New Features That Unlock Workflow Gains
- Max Billing Cycles per Membership Level
Great for limited-time packages like “3 Month Personal Training.” Just set a cap, and it’ll auto-cancel after the limit.
- Targeted Notifications for Events & Classes
Add special messaging or alerts with a dedicated field for event-specific notifications.
- Manual Class Registration
Staff can now register members for classes on their behalf through the dashboard.
- API Control of Resource Availability
External systems (or your own scripts) can now toggle availability for resources like rooms, instructors, or equipment.
- Email Campaigns from Check-in Reports
Pull up a check-in report, filter for recent no-shows or regulars, and kick off a campaign right from the report.
- Editable Campaign Drafts
You can now go back and edit any campaign draft before sending. No more starting over from scratch.
- Class Check-ins Linked to Member Profiles
Checked-in classes now show under each member’s record. More context, fewer clicks.
- Auditable Clock-in Entries (ManageShifts)
All clock-in activity is now tracked and auditable. This is great for admins managing shift-based staff.
These changes aim to tighten the loop between member activity, access control, billing, and marketing. Most of the updates are live now, and a few may require you to update your kiosk or refresh your API integrations.
