
🚀 Version 1.8.0 Release Notes — July 15, 2025
This update brings a solid round of fixes, new features, and usability improvements across scheduling, member management, and reporting. Here's what's new:
✅ Fixes
We knocked out several bugs affecting daily operations:
- Resource list now correctly shows all available options for a selected day.
- Resource sort order is now consistent across both frontend and backend.
- Cancellation fees are no longer recorded twice.
- Child accounts now inherit the correct parent info upon creation.
- Timeoff requests now display employee names properly in shift management.
- Scheduling email campaigns is working again.
- Sunday resource availability now respects defined settings.
✨ New Features
You asked, we added:
- Resources can now be deleted if no longer needed.
- New dashboard charts for collections and failed payments.
- Direct linking now supported for both classes and resources.
- Unavailability is now more visible in the backend calendar.
- You can now bulk activate or deactivate members from the dashboard.
- Events can now have external registration links attached.
- Owner controls now include the option to disable new member registration email notifications.
- Bounced email addresses are now automatically blocked from future sends.
🛠️ Improvements
We also made several quality-of-life updates:
- Registration form clearly shows validation rules and strips non-digits from mobile numbers.
- Waiver page now requires both signature and printed name.
- Event calendar no longer responds aggressively to hover, improving overall UX.
- Last check-in report now sorts by date and supports membership level filtering.
- Resource booking now respects timezone differences and correctly adjusts end times.
- Member profiles now show parent account when applicable.
- Non-managers can now launch kiosk mode in shift management.
- Financial transaction reports now search from 00:00:00 to 23:59:59 for start and end dates.
